Petronas tower a noite

Where I was before Malaysia:  Singapore.

Information on documentation, visas, permanence, security and much more for Brazilian consular portal.

Tourist information official website of the government of Malaysia.

Where I’m going next: Thailand.

Kuala Lumpur

Malasia has always inspired dreams to know and Kuala Lampur was a surprise, as it has a first world mix with Asia that we imagine.

A punishing city, it has the tradition of Asia with the modernity of the best cities in the world.

It has a very strong influence from the Chinese and also the best brands in the world.

A true shopper’s paradise, you can find everything.

After visiting the city, I went to the famous Batu Cave, a temple in a cave inside a mountain.

Batu caves

It is one of the most important Hindu temples outside India. There are 5 caves within a mountain.

The temple cave is dedicated to Lord Murugan, god of war.

At the entrance, at the foot of the 272-step staircase there is a statue of Lord Murugan in full length measuring 42 meters in height.

Next to the temple cave is the Dark Cave, where an “exploration” tour takes place in the dark. Interesting but very silly ride.

Inside the Temple cave there are many statues and altars dedicated to various gods.

(Penang) George Town

After leaving Kuala Lumpur I took a train and then a boat to the island of Penang (George Town).

Visiting the city and  went to the National Park with several trails and quieter beaches.

I was supposed to go back to the mainland and take a train to Thailand, but I found a way to go by boat, passing through some islands, so I decided to go to Langkawi.

Langkawi

I took a boat to Langkawi, the trip lasts approximately 3 hours.

The locals use it as a island transportation.
It’s a tax-free zone, so a lot of people go there to buy things, which are cheaper than in Malaysia.

I made some trips to some islands Pulau Singa Besar, Pulau Beras Basah and Pulau Dayang Bunting and of course the “famous” stop to see the hunting eagles.

Now it is time to go to Thailand.

Ready? Then let's hit the road...

Book your flight.

Finding cheap flights can be difficult and stressful, but with the tips from the Blog and using Skyscanner or Google flights, the task can even be enjoyable.

Today, these are the most complete tools on the market

Book your accommodation.

With that in mind, it’s time to choose your accommodation.

The best tool is Booking.com.

For those who are going to use hostels, the best tool is Hostelworld.

I have used both very often and always find the best prices.

Get your insurance

Insurance is something we never want to use, but it is traumatic if we need it and don’t have it.

It will cover the costs of any eventuality of illness, injury, theft and/or cancellations of tickets, hotels, etc.

I have used WorldNomads or Assistcard, which always have the insurance with the coverage that travelers need, in addition to having coverage worldwide.
