Wanderer around the world

I am José Carlos Costa, a wanderer who decided to wander the world in search of adventure, authenticity and connection with the world through meeting people, places and new cultures.

Without being tied to itineraries and preconceptions, I value the freedom to explore places, cultures and experiences in a spontaneous and immersive way.

After traveling to more than 60 countries, accumulating many stories and learning about the world, I decided to help as many people as possible to have this experience and live in the best way possible.

What do I seek in my travels?

To have a journey of introspection and self-discovery, in addition to living as close as possible to the local people, living in the reality of each place and culture, with its diversity of people and cultures.

In my travels, I try to have:

  1. Independent travel: Traveling on my own, following my own interests and adapting to the local people and cultures.
  2. Spirit of adventure: I always look for unique experiences, little-explored places, even in more than tourist destinations.
  3. Simple and uncluttered style: Valuing the essential, focusing on learning and personal enrichment, always taking into account the local culture.
  4. Sustainability: Always keeping in mind respect and sustainability of the environment, people and animals.
  5. Minimalism: I believe that less is always more. Traveling light without carrying excess.

This allows me to get to know myself better, and it is easier to understand others, breaking down prejudices and pre-established ideas.

Consequently, it makes the world more tolerant, fair and better to live in.
